Every 5-6 months I get the travelfever. I get nervous, I'm grumpy and I just need holidays far far away. Not to much planning, so often I go alone. Just some time for me, myself and I. The most important person we may forget in our daily life.
My advice for rest in your life and mind? Take some me-time. You can do it in your shower, in the hammam or sauna, but the best: just go away. Forget everyone and take a holiday with yourself. Best way to meet people and process the last months.
Discovering: Brusssels! Toys and the Botanique
It's always great to feel like a child again. The world is so much easier! I had the chance to travel back in time when I visited the toymuseum. I loved it! And after that walking in a fairytale-park: The Botanique. Do you want to know more? Just one click away!
Gluhwein, sparkles and hot chocolate: christmas markets in Belgium
I'm sure that the biggest and most decadent christmas markets are those in Germany. But I also like those in my little country: Belgium. Do you want to know which ones I like or want to see? Take your moose and follow me!
Discovering: Brussels! Les Marolles & Parc Sobieski
Monday was a day off and my boyfriend showed me some places I didn't know of this marvellous city. I can only say: it has a lot of facets! Come and discover this with me!
Togo, mon pays
I love Africa. Even if I only did 2 countries and some feetsteps in a third one. I try to go every year. And until now I did 3 times Togo and last year I did marocco too. But Togo was my first African love. And here you can find a bit of my first experience overthere. With the time more stories will come. Also keep an eye on the page 'Food!' beacause I will tell you a bit about my favourite african food too.
Italy, the land of foodlovers, nudity, fashionista's and yoghurt-flavoured ice cream
Last winter I was doubting where to go. I had several countries/cities on my list: Barcelona, Paris, Switzerland, ... but I decided to go to Italy. I planned to go to 5 places but at the end I did like 9 :D I travelled, discovered and most important I learned. I learned about the food, the clothing and about myself.
Do you want to know where I went, what I saw and what I suggest? Just read my travelguide about this trip.
